If you haven't read my blog about my first day at KL, you can find it here. So imagine strolling for 12 hours, you really need a good and long sleep for the next day. Take it from me, rest well at night so that you can save more energy and will not feel lousy for your next adventure. ;) On our second day, we traveled to the bottom and last stop of the north station, Batu Caves. Though buses are cheaper than transit but the latter is faster since there is no traffic and you can save more time. Batu Cave station is just meters away from the Batu Caves, a Hindu shrine and temple with 200-step stairs and a huge statue of Lord Murugan. There is no entrance fee. Just a note by the way, never wear shorts or mini skirts when you're visiting temples or holy places. Pants, leggings or long skirts will do. A must try to visit and climb the 200 step Batu Cave. Finally, I got the chance to save and pay for my own fare and pocket money for our one week escapade last two months ago, Malaysia - Singapore - Cebu. The total transportation fares (airplane, bus and train) I spent was almost Php8,000 and that was for three locations with different destinations.
