December 2013.   To be chosen as one of the fifteen delegates to represent the Philippine delegation for the JENESYS 2.0: Japan-ASEAN Student Conference was a wonderful blessing for me and somehow a Christmas gift also for myself since I didn’t only attend a conference but also had the chance to visit some historical places, experience the culture in Japan, met new friends and built new connections. It  was held last December 7 to 16, 2013 at Japan.  This was indeed a rare opportunity for young individuals especially that the event was funded by the Japanese Government. Who would ever thought that I was one among the lucky 180 participants to be part of the remarkable event and met the First Lady Akei Abe of Japan in person. May 2012 . I was one of the chosen Philippine delegates for the Initiative For Peace  conducted by the Li Po Chun United World College (LPC-UWC) of Hong Kong students. It is an annual program of the students which aimed to bring youth from Philippines to understand conflict and learn conflict management. Eighty percent of my plane fare (Davao-Cebu-HK and vice versa) was catered by the organizers. Our accommodation was free. We chose Mactan International Airport over NAIA as it was cheaper that time. After the program proper, the organizers toured us around Hong Kong for free especially at the Victoria Harbour where we witnessed the symphony of lights, a 15 minute show of spectacular light from the buildings synchronized to music. It is staged every 8:00 PM and everyone is free to watch. S

May 2011. From Mochit Terminal Bangkok, Thailand we rode a bus heading to Siem Reap, Cambodia. What I envied with these countries is that they are land-locked. You can just hop off to another country thru bus/car which is much cheaper than airplanes (although not all). I can't totally remember the duration of our trip but I think it was around 5-6 hours. Arriving at the bus stop, we directly headed to their Immigration Office. The border of Siem Reap. Cambodian's currency is Riel (KHR) though almost all of the business establishments there accept payments in US Dollars and Thai Baht. That was why we regretted to exchange our dollars and bahts into riels which had already altered the value. We stayed for three days and two nights at  Green Park Village Guesthouse  for $9 per room with three beds and one bathroom and also a continental breakfast (so cheap, ayt?). May 2011 . Me, my Asian Studies professor and classmates had an international tour to two of the countries in Southeast Asia - Thailand, formerly known as Siam and Cambodia. Way back in 2008, first year college, wherein we would just discussed about this country, discovering its history, government composition, economy and culture. Yet after three years, finally we could land on our own feet to these two remarkable countries in the SEA history. The main reason of our trip was to attend the 1st International Conference on International Relations and Development (ICIRD) at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Then the rest will be a segway to explore anywhere. I can't still move on after losing my Sony Xperia phone last February 2014. All my accounts in social media and email addresses are connected to that phone number. So whenever I logged in to my accounts and it asked for my phone number to send a verification code, since I don't have the access for such phone number anymore, I can't open them. Ending: new accounts for certain social media such as this. And yeah,  just citing  the reason why I made a new one (I still love to continue writing!).
